The first step in lithium extraction from spodumene is the conversion of the dense α-phase (monoclinic system) into the porous β-phase (tetragonal system), which is amenable to subsequent acid roasting. The temperature window for this crystal transformation is narrow, placing extremely high demands on the burner's control precision.

The Art of the Temperature Field

In a spodumene rotary kiln, material enters from the kiln tail and exchanges heat counter-currently with the high-temperature flue gas generated by the burner. Our multi-channel design ensures the precise distribution of flame length and temperature field, stably controlling the temperature within the ideal range of 1000-1100°C. This guarantees complete phase transformation while preventing material overheating and melting.
